How to wash a bathrobe?
In order to keep the colors fresh, you should always follow the manufacturer's washing recommendations, but it can be assumed that the bathrobe must be washed at least 60°C.
Natural fiber cotton
Cotton is a very easy-care material. Terry is usually made of cotton and can be washed at 60 (to 90) degrees without the fabric suffering.
Silk and satin
Real silk can only be washed either by hand or very carefully in the washing machine if it has a silk and wool program that is particularly gentle on the laundry. You can wash silk in the washing machine at a maximum of 30 degrees.
Polyester or synthetic fabrics
These bathrobes are not suitable for washing at higher temperatures.
As a rule, it is 40°C.
Mixed materials
Pay attention to the washing recommendations of the manufacturer. If the main material in your bathrobe is made of cotton, nothing stands in the way of a wash cycle up to 60°C.
