We recommend to use as little detergent as possible and no fabric softener. This will ensure that the rug will keep its shape over a longer period of time. A front-load washer set on the delicate cycle is ideal. The normal shrinkage rate is about 5-6%. The following points can reduce the shrinkage ratio to about 3%. Water temperature <40 degrees, do not soak for a long time.
